Simultaneous Multibeam Resource Allocation Scheme for Multiple Target Tracking

PROJECT TITLE :

Simultaneous Multibeam Resource Allocation Scheme for Multiple Target Tracking

ABSTRACT:

A colocated multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar system has the flexibility to handle multiple beam information. But, the simultaneous multibeam working mode has two finite operating resources: the amount of beams and the whole transmit power of the multiple beams. During this situation, a resource allocation strategy for the multibeam working mode with the task of tracking multiple targets is developed during this paper. The premise of our technique is to regulate the amount of beams and their directions and also the transmit power of each beam through feedback, with the aim of improving the worst tracking performance among the multiple targets. The Bayesian Cramér–Rao lower certain (BCRLB) provides us with a lower bound on the estimated mean sq. error (MSE) of the target state. Hence, it's derived and utilized as an optimization criterion for the resource allocation scheme. We tend to prove that the ensuing resource optimization downside is nonconvex however will be reformulated as a collection of convex issues. So, optimal solutions can be obtained simply, which greatly aids real-time resource management. Numerical results show that the worst case tracking accuracy will be efficiently improved by the proposed simultaneous multibeam resource allocation (SMRA) algorithm.
