ABSTRACT:
Hideko Kunii grew up within the countryside of Aichi-prefecture in Japan surrounded by the singing of birds and cicadas. A quiet lady who loved books, her favorite childhood memories are each visual and fragrant-the garden of her house, the yellow rape blossoms within the rice fields, and also the cherry blossoms at the banks.
