LSCD: A Low-Storage Clone Detection Protocol for Cyber-Physical Systems

PROJECT TITLE :

LSCD: A Low-Storage Clone Detection Protocol for Cyber-Physical Systems

ABSTRACT:

Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) have recently become an vital analysis field not solely as a result of of their vital and varied application eventualities, including transportation systems, good homes, surveillance systems, and wearable devices but conjointly as a result of the elemental infrastructure has however to be well addressed. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs), as a kind of supporting infrastructure, play an irreplaceable role in CPS design. Specifically, secure communication in WSNs is very important because info transferred within the networks will be simply stolen or replaced. So, this paper presents a completely unique distributed low-storage clone detection protocol (LSCD) for WSNs. We tend to initial design a detection route along the perpendicular direction of a witness path with witness nodes deployed during a ring path. This ensures that the detection route must encounter the witness path as a result of the distance between any 2 detection routes must be smaller than the witness path length. Within the LSCD protocol, clone detection is processed during a nonhotspot region where a massive amount of energy remains, that can improve energy efficiency also network lifetime. Intensive simulations demonstrate that the lifetime, storage requirements, and detection chance of our protocol are substantially improved over competing solutions from the literature.
