ABSTRACT:
Twin output indirect matrix converter relies on the traditional indirect matrix converter topology, however the standard six-switch inverter, utilized in the one-output indirect matrix converter, is replaced by a nine-switch dual output converter. Model Predictive Control (MPC) uses the discrete-time model of the system to predict future price of the controlled variable for all potential management actions and user-outlined price function related to regulate objectives is solved to seek out its minimum. The management action which minimizes the value operate is chosen and applied to the system for the following time interval. This paper presents a finite management set model predictive control strategy for a single-input dual-output indirect matrix converter.
