A Novel Multilevel Multi-Output Bidirectional Active Buck PFC Rectifier - 2016
PROJECT TITLE :
A Novel Multilevel Multi-Output Bidirectional Active Buck PFC Rectifier - 2016
ABSTRACT:
This paper presents a new family of buck type power issue corrector rectifiers that operates in continuous-conduction mode (CCM) and generates a multilevel voltage waveform at the input. Because of CCM operation, commonly used ac-aspect capacitive filter and dc-side inductive filter are off from the proposed changed packed U-cell rectifier structure. Dual dc output terminals are provided to possess a 5-level voltage waveform at the input points of the rectifier where it's provided by a grid via a line inductor. Producing completely different voltage levels reduces the voltage harmonics that affects the grid current harmonic contents directly. Low switching frequency of the proposed rectifier may be a distinguished characteristic among other buck kind rectifiers that reduces switching losses and any high switching frequency connected issues, significantly. The proposed transformerless, reduced filter, and multilevel rectifier topology has been investigated experimentally to validate the nice dynamic performance in generating and regulating dual 125-V dc outputs terminals as telecommunication boards feeders or industrial battery chargers below numerous state of affairs as well as change in the hundreds and amendment in the main grid voltage amplitude.
