Energy Beamformer and Time Split Design for Wireless Powered Two-Way Relaying Systems - 2018

ABSTRACT:

In this Project, we have a tendency to contemplate a power beacon (PB) assisted two-method relaying network, where two single antenna energy constrained users first harvest energy from a multi-antenna PB and then communicate with every other with the help of a relay. The key aim of the paper is to style the energy beamforming vector and time split parameter for optimizing the system performance. In explicit, 2 different style objectives are investigated, particularly, max-min rate style and add rate maximization style. Due to the non-convex nature of the optimization problems, the worldwide optimal solutions are difficult to get. Instead, we propose an alternating optimization design framework where near optimal performance can be achieved through iterative optimization. Moreover, to more scale back the computation complexity, closed-type suboptimal designs are provided. Simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed alternating optimization style and suboptimal design. The outcomes of the paper suggest that adopting the proposed energy beamforming vector at the PB will substantially boost the system performance. Additionally, the topology of the network contains a significant impact on the achievable performance.
