Attribute-based Access Control with Constant-size Ciphertext in Cloud Computing - 2016

ABSTRACT:

With the recognition of cloud computing, there are increasing considerations concerning its security and privacy. Since the cloud computing surroundings is distributed and untrusted, information owners need to encrypt outsourced knowledge to enforce confidentiality. So, how to realize practicable access management of encrypted information in an untrusted environment is an urgent issue that should be solved. Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) may be a promising theme suitable for access management in cloud storage systems. This paper proposes a hierarchical attribute-primarily based access control theme with constant-size ciphertext. The scheme is efficient as a result of the length of ciphertext and the number of bilinear pairing evaluations to a relentless are mounted. Its computation value in encryption and decryption algorithms is low. Moreover, the hierarchical authorization structure of our theme reduces the burden and risk of one authority state of affairs. We tend to prove the scheme is of CCA2 security underneath the decisional q-Bilinear Diffie-Hellman Exponent assumption. Yet, we have a tendency to implement our theme and analyse its performance. The analysis results show the proposed scheme is economical, scalable, and fine-grained in handling access management for outsourced information in cloud computing.
