Shared Authority Based Privacy-Preserving Authentication Protocol in Cloud Computing - 2015

ABSTRACT:

Cloud computing is an emerging data interactive paradigm to realize users' knowledge remotely stored in an online cloud server. Cloud services provide nice conveniences for the users to relish the on-demand cloud applications without considering the native infrastructure limitations. During the info accessing, completely different users could be during a collaborative relationship, and thus knowledge sharing becomes vital to achieve productive edges. The present security solutions mainly specialize in the authentication to understand that a user's privative information can not be illegally accessed, however neglect a delicate privacy issue during a user difficult the cloud server to request alternative users for information sharing. The challenged access request itself may reveal the user's privacy no matter whether or not or not it will acquire the info access permissions. During this paper, we propose a shared authority primarily based privacy-preserving authentication protocol (SAPA) to handle on top of privacy issue for cloud storage. Within the SAPA, one) shared access authority is achieved by anonymous access request matching mechanism with security and privacy issues (e.g., authentication, knowledge anonymity, user privacy, and forward security); two) attribute primarily based access management is adopted to appreciate that the user will solely access its own information fields; three) proxy re-encryption is applied to provide knowledge sharing among the multiple users. Meanwhile, universal composability (UC) model is established to prove that the SAPA theoretically has the planning correctness. It indicates that the proposed protocol is enticing for multi-user collaborative cloud applications.
