PROJECT TITLE :

CSR: Classified Source Routing in Distributed Networks - 2018

ABSTRACT:

Lately cloud computing provides a new means to handle the constraints of restricted energy, capabilities, and resources. Distributed hash table (DHT) primarily based distributed networks have become increasingly important for economical communication in massive-scale cloud systems. Previous studies mainly target improving the performance such as latency, scalability and robustness, but seldom think about the security demands on the routing ways, for example, bypassing untrusted intermediate nodes. Inspired by Internet source routing, in which the source nodes specify the routing paths taken by their packets, this Project presents CSR, a tag-based, Classified Source Routing theme in distributed networks to satisfy the protection demands on the routing methods. Totally different from Internet supply routing that requires some map of the general network, CSR operates in an exceedingly distributed manner where nodes with bound security level are tagged with a label and routing messages requiring that level of security are forwarded solely to the qualified next-hops. We tend to show how this may be achieved efficiently, by easy extensions of the ancient routing structures, and safely, thus that the routing is uniformly convergent. The effectiveness of our proposals is demonstrated through theoretical analysis and in depth simulations.
